How much does assisted living cost in Clovis?

Is A Place Called Home an apartment building?
No — and that surprises many families. Each of our ten locations is a real house in a residential neighborhood, licensed for just six residents, with private bedrooms rather than apartments. Families often call this a board and care home. You get a loving home with two caregivers on every day shift, not a unit in a large building.
How quickly can my parent move in?
Often within days. Hospital discharges are one of the most common ways families find us, and we're used to working on a discharge planner's timeline. After a nursing assessment and the required physician's report, a move-in can usually be arranged as soon as a room is ready.
What is included in the monthly rate?
Everything: a private room, home-cooked meals and snacks, medication management, help with bathing, dressing and daily care, laundry, housekeeping, and daily activities. Because the rate is all-inclusive, it doesn't climb as your loved one's needs grow.
Can a married couple live together?
Yes. We regularly welcome couples — sharing a room or in two rooms of the same home — including couples where one spouse has dementia and the other doesn't. It's one of the advantages of a small home over a large facility with separate wings.
