What stage of dementia can you care for?
From early confusion through late-stage dementia, including residents who wander, need redirection, or can no longer manage any daily tasks alone. Our caregivers receive ongoing dementia training, and as a nurse I oversee every care plan. The main question is safety fit, which we assess before any move-in.
Why is a small care home better for someone with dementia?
Familiarity. In a six-resident home, your mom sees the same two caregivers every day, eats at the same kitchen table, and never faces long hallways or shift-change strangers. That consistency measurably reduces the anxiety and agitation that large, busy buildings can trigger in people with memory loss.
My mother is a fall risk and uses a walker. Can you keep her safe?
Fall-risk care is one of the most common needs we serve. With a 1-to-3 caregiver ratio on day shifts, someone is nearby for every transfer, and our single-story homes have no stairs to manage. We'll talk through her specific mobility needs during the assessment.
Can my parent stay through hospice and end of life?
Yes. We partner with local hospice agencies so residents can age in place, in their own room, surrounded by caregivers they know — rather than moving to a facility at the hardest possible time. Many of our families tell us this mattered more than anything else we did.
