At A Place Called Home, we are licensed to provide a full spectrum of care—from those needing medication management to those who may need full-assist, bedridden care. We hold the highest level safety rating in Fresno County and are nationally recognized in the top 0.1% of assisted living facilities for both quality and customer satisfaction. As non-medical facilities, most residential care homes for the elderly have no medical expertise; however, we set ourselves apart by providing nurse trained and supervised staff offering the highest level of care for residents suffering from dementia including Alzheimer’s, mild cognitive disorder (MCD), Parkinson’s, stroke, rehabilitation, fall recovery, or those needing general assistance with activities of daily living.

24-hr Live-in Care

Great care starts with great caregivers. That is why we offer the best compensation and accommodations for our staff. Each home has two live-in caregivers, two relief caregivers, and an awake overnight caregiver—providing a care ratio of one caregiver for three residents during waking hours. That is FIVE TIMES better than the average assisted living facility!

From the lush landscaping to the designer furniture, everything is carefully selected to create an elegant home-like experience in the nicest neighborhoods. Every room is fully furnished with hardwood bedroom sets, cozy recliners, and big-screen TV’s. Flat-rate Pricing

Instead of using the tiered pricing model found in most facilities, we charge a flat rate regardless of how your needs may change over time. You don’t have to worry about price fluctuations month over month. Whatever your fixed income may be, you can budget with confidence knowing that you are receiving the best care possible, including hospice care, bedridden care, or dementia care. Your monthly fee includes all assistance with all activities of daily living, as well as our concierge Physician and our on-call Registered Nurse*.

*Families are responsible for diapers, transportation, and private chaperones for things like off-site doctor’s appointments
